Rebel

with a nice mini half pipe inside the shop, this place screams underground culture.  located a couple minutes from Komatsu airport, Rebel is a great stop if your looking a Japan skate sesh right off the plane.  with apparel, incense, bags, skateboard stuff, and mix CDs, this place is great for somebody looking to skate or pick up something to remind them of their adventure in Ishikawa prefecture.  the owner, Atsushi-san, is super nice, and would give you recommendations on the best skate spots or beaches around town.  i asked him who he would love to see in the shop, and he said, “people who just started skating, been skating for their whole life, or looking to make some good friends.” needless to say, this place is a great spot to chill out in Komatsu.
