Ganso Donaiya – Takoyaki

Ganso Donaiya – 元祖どないや

people often have trouble describing what takoyaki is, but it’s basically octopus dumplings.  some say “samurai balls.”  the name takoyaki means “grilled octopus” but these are a gooey, breaded treat, where it’s hard to taste any octopus at all.  and if you are looking for good street side takoyaki late at night partying in downtown Kanazawa, check out Donaiya. They have all kinds of takoyaki.  just point at whatever looks good on the menu, smile, pay the money, and get ready to enjoy a frenzy of toasty flavor.
