About an hour by car outside of Kanazawa city there is a great local spot with a beautiful waterfall and cool space for cliff diving.  Off the beaten path, super local, and a haven in the summer time.  The area around is very nice, mountains, biking paths, and some local restaurants.

  1. I haven’t cliff dived yet, but I did jump off a waterfall. Of course, I let my friends go first. It was about 25 feet according to my memory. I wonder at what point you should be more concerned about full impact than the thrill of the jump, haha.
