LAMF is a three man crew.Three guys, Doko, Kotaro, and Tatsuya, all met through through the BMX scene, but with interest in street culture and fashion, they wanted to do something different.Starting in 2014, the three of them started making videos and apparel.Using original graphics and photos, they started silk screening, and have got some high quality gear. T-shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, etc. You can check out all their videos and apparel at the links below.The videos are extremely well done, and give a great look into the street scene in Japan.
LAMF, while yet small at the moment, is looking up to collaborate with bigger brands, but it’s obvious that that isn’t the main goal.The street scene is alive and well in Japan, and LAMF is a great example of kids spinning western culture and Japanese roots together for a unique vibe.Staying local, staying street, and doing business for fun, I’m excited to see what they have in store next.
