Kuro Maru – 黒丸

Located close to Kanazawa station, the yakiniku restaurant Kuro Maru has delicious Japanese meat and a great atmosphere.  A sister shop of Maru, both of these restaurants serve top class wagyu (Japanese beef), but are easy on the wallet. The pork served at Kuro Maru is raised locally here in Ishikawa prefecture, and the beef and chicken are from southern Japan in Kyushu. One plate is about 700 yen.

金沢駅から徒歩5分ほどの所にある“くろまる”はホルモンまるの姉妹店。こちらもまた雰囲気がよくて人気のお店だ。まる同様、トップクラスの和牛を取り扱っているが、お得に食べれるのがありがたい。くろまるの豚肉は地元で飼育された石川県産。また牛肉や鶏肉は九州の南部から取り寄せている。駅から近いから終電にも間に合うはず。
