Filmed at Mikohara in Ishikawa Japan, sometime early May 2018. The rice terraces at Mikohara are beautiful any time of year. Japanese rice farmers plant late April early May, and harvest late August early September. Rice from Mikohara is said to get its great taste from the elevation and temperature changes, cold in the evenings and hot in the afternoon.
