Noyau

with a warm wooden interior that screams traditional yet modern Japan, Noyau is a great place to check out tasteful Japanese craftsman ship.  many of Ishikawa’s famous crafts can be found here, such as Wajima and Yamanaka lacquer ware, and the ceramic style “kutaniyaki.”  glassware, tableware, leather, and other accessories adorn the shop, giving it a high end variety store feel.  the owner loves collecting goods from all over Japan, and you just might find yourself collecting goods from her.
