Epochz

Welcome to the original underground fashion spot in the Kanazawa suburbs.  Akio, the owner, is the senpai’s senpai, an OG.  Epochz is dope because, besides the super long history of 17 years and great reputation , it’s got great color, a really nice atmosphere, and time seems to slow down while you’re at the shop.  There are upscale clothes but also laid back stuff, things for every budget.  There are usually guys shooting the shit, and if school’s out there are kids running around, skating, doing this and that.  For how underground it is, it’s quite the family joint.

I asked the owner, Akio, what he himself thought of the shop, and he said, “We’re a select shop in the suburbs of Kanazawa.  We carry mainly clothes, but have sweets, toys, small stuff, cosmetics, etc.”

“Is there anything you wanna say, or you would like me to write about?” I asked him, and he came back with something pretty good.  He said, “These days, the world moves so fast.  Take time and be conscious of the moment.  Stop by the shop, slow down, enjoy the space, and have a good time.  SLOW CLOTHING.”
